Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer who shares our passion for creativity and social justice. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute your unique perspective and skills to projects that empower marginalized groups and advocate for social change. You will work closely with our marketing and communications team to develop visually compelling materials that capture the essence of our mission and engage our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative and visually striking designs for a variety of print and digital materials, including but not limited to: marketing collateral, social media graphics, infographics, website assets, and presentations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and translate concepts into impactful visual solutions.

• Create designs that are culturally sensitive, inclusive, and representative of diverse perspectives and experiences.

• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and enhance design concepts, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and messaging.

• Stay informed about industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously elevate the quality and effectiveness of our visual communications.

• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of design, advocating for representation and accessibility in our visual content.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects that demonstrate creativity, originality, and technical proficiency.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.

• Understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and composition principles.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and receive feedback.

• Passion for social justice and a commitment to using design as a tool for positive change.

• Experience working with or creating designs for marginalized communities is preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
